Pens have always been high on the list of the most stolen items in the world, and customised pens are no exception. It seems that everyone, or almost everyone, has been guilty, even if unwittingly, of taking the pen from the hotel reception or the post office.

The more upright will hasten to point out that – if indeed it happened – it was by mistake and that they barely slept once they realised. Others will admit to sneakily taking it during a business meeting, citing reasons such as: “it wrote so well”, “it was the same colour as the cover of my iPhone” and so on.
